Safeguarding Policy

At Lianne Marie Yoga, the safety and wellbeing of all children and young people is a priority.

I am committed to providing a calm, supportive, and inclusive environment where young people feel safe, respected, and listened to throughout all classes, workshops, and wellbeing sessions.

With over eight years of experience working in education, including within secondary schools and a special educational needs setting, I understand the importance of safeguarding, appropriate boundaries, and creating spaces that support emotional and physical wellbeing.

DBS & Safe Practice

I hold an enhanced DBS certificate and take appropriate steps to maintain safe and professional practice within all sessions involving children and young people.

Sessions are delivered in a way that is:

  • Inclusive and accessible

  • Respectful and non-judgemental

  • Appropriate to age and environment

  • Focused on wellbeing and emotional safety

Parents and carers are encouraged to share any relevant information that may help support their young person’s experience within sessions.

Safeguarding Concerns

If a safeguarding concern arises during a session, appropriate action will be taken in line with safeguarding responsibilities and, where necessary, concerns may be passed on to relevant services or safeguarding leads.
